The head of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sergey Lavrov, is also preparing a visit to Africa following in the footsteps of Kuleba.
Dmytro Kuleba, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, has announced that during his tour of African countries, the Russian ambassadors in each of the countries tell the local authorities about how "bad" it is to receive representatives of the Ukrainian authorities.
Dmytro Kuleba, the Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, shared this information during his Instagram live video from Ethiopia.
"I know that in Moscow, they closely monitor my tour, and wherever I appear, the Russian ambassador arrives and starts telling people how bad it is to receive the Ukrainian minister. Lavrov, following in my footsteps, immediately tries to speak with the people I have talked to and plans his visit to Africa," Kuleba said.
Kuleba said that Africa is a space for a diplomatic duel with Russia. For the past 30 years, Moscow has been actively working on the continent, spreading its propaganda, and is currently trying to present itself as the "savior of Africa."
In addition, Kuleba said that his tour of African countries continues.
